Studio Membership
Studio memberships allow full access to the clay studio for approved members. Please only purchase this membership if you have spoken with us first and have been approved. If you purchase this membership, you will only have studio access after you have gone through the orientation steps below. Be sure to schedule your orientation with us via email as soon as you purchase your membership!
Studio membership benefits:
Members will get to access the studio whenever they want outside of scheduled classes or events.
Each member will have their own shelf space for storing in-process work, and can access studio tools and equipment, including pottery wheels, plaster molds, work tables, and more.
Members must purchase their own clay, but have access to a handful of studio glazes. Members may bring their own clay and glaze as long as they fire to cone 6.
And members will have access to all studio kiln firings—as soon as there is enough work to fill the kiln, we will fire it!
Members will have discounted rates on workshops and classes offered at Pawpaw.
Members will be a part of a supportive and kind community of pottery enthusiasts!
Studio Membership Requirements:
Members are required to have taken at least one introductory class at Pawpaw or another clay studio (like Cosmic Clay in Smithville!)
Members must go through a studio orientation session prior to gaining access to the studio. Schedule your orientation with Cornelia as soon as your membership is purchased if not before!
All members will be required to adhere to studio guidelines, which will include basic respect for others and safety protocols as well as cleaning up after yourself. We will cover all of this at orientation.

Contact us via social media dm or email cornelia@pawpaw.studio —share your experience level and story and we will get back to you and schedule a time to meet up at the studio or chat on the phone!
Meet up for a studio orientation in-person where you will review and sign our New Member Onboarding Form.
Provide a photo ID.
Sign up here on our website for a monthly membership subscription at your preferred level! Your payment card will be billed monthly thereafter until you cancel.
We’ll give you a key code to access the space.
