Working Studio Membership is designed for makers who want a creative studio home in a community of fellow clay enthusiasts of diverse backgrounds united by a love of the craft of ceramics!
Members must have taken at least one introductory pottery class at Pawpaw or another clay studio (such as Cosmic Clay in Smithville) and be prepared to work in a self-directed manner
Members must be willing to clean up after themselves and participate by studio rules.
All members must complete a studio orientation before receiving access to the space. Email info@pawpaw.studio to schedule your orientation.
Members must sign a New Member Agreement and follow studio guidelines, including basic safety, respect for other makers, and cleaning up after yourself. We’ll cover everything at orientation.
Pawpaw is a mid-fire studio. Members are encouraged to buy their own clay and glazes but outside clay must be compatible with cone 6 firings and approved by Pawpaw staff.
